This app allows end-users to download a (fake) personalized summary of the 1920s era alcohol prohibition laws of their state. From the end-user's perspective, this app has two steps (1) select their state; then (2) receive a Word document with a summary of the laws for that state.
The Data Source table is the backbone of this app. The table has a series of columns such as 'State Name', 'Is alcohol prohibited?', 'Date of prohibition', etc. When the user selects a state from a Data Selector dropdown question, the app is able to "pull out" the data associated with that row. Accordingly, you can create a document template with variables for 'date of prohibition' which will reflect the unique date for the specific state selected.
