Are you a Kentuckian who can't pay rent during the COVID-19 crisis?

KEJC has prepared a letter that you can customize and send to your landlord.

The letter explains that the renter cannot pay rent, reminds the landlord of the renter's rights during the COVID–19 crisis, and encourages the landlord to take advantage of programs to relieve the landlord's own financial pressures during the global pandemic and economic crisis.

Click the "Start" button! The process only takes 2-3 minutes and not only will you get a letter to send to your landlord, you'll learn more about the new ways the Kentucky Supreme Court, Governor Beshear, and Congress are protecting renters during the COVID–19 pandemic.

You will have the option of downloading either a Word document or a PDF. Or, you can email your landlord directly from this website. (You will have a chance to review the email before sending it.)
